Doctorate in Science (1998), Licence in Mathematics (1994), DEC2 in Actuarial Science (1993) Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium.
Academic experience
Chargé de Cours at the Université Libre de Bruxelles since 2004; previously Premier Assistant (2002-2003), Assistant (1995-2002); Supervisor or co-supervisor for 2 Ph.D. students in Mathematics plus several Masters and Licence research students.
Research fields
Group theory; combinatorics; incidence geometry; polytopes; computational algebra.
Professional experience/leadership
Vice-head of the Department of Mathematics, Université Libre de Bruxelles (2009-); Founder of MACS Consult (2008); Co-founder of Green Cocoon (2009).

Reviewer for Math Reviews and Zentralblatt für Mathematik; Referee for over 17 international mathematical journals; Referee for the Fonds voor Wetenschappelijke Onderzoek; Member of organising committee for one international scientific meeting; Member of several international professional societies, including Belgian and European Mathematical Societies and the Institute of Combinatorics & Applications; Developer of the packages on incidence geometries and coset geometries in the Magma language.
